The following images or ‘Snapshots’ are from my poetry collection – ‘Going Off Grid‘.
The majority of these photographs were taken over a two-year period while I was out walking around the mountains near my home. Each image was edited in Photoshop to conjure up an ‘oldie-worldie’ feeling. I’m a big fan of ‘Julia Margaret Cameron’ who was a true pioneer of photography and saw the creative and artistic possibilities way before many of her contemporaries. I’ve attempted to give these simple everyday scenes, that show ordinary things, a similar stamp.
